Sunday Adventure

Benjamin loves to help out, he loves to shut doors and the dishwasher after we have loaded it. Tonight I was doing laundry and he had helped to put clothes in the dryer I turned around to turn the dryer on and he shut the door with me inside the laundry room and he was on the other side of the door.

I didn't know that the knob was broken and the door wouldn't open from the inside. I called my neighbor but got no answer, so I called Wes at work. He ended up calling his mom and she came over and let me out. I was locked inside for about 45 minutes.

I could hear Benjmain going up and down the stairs and throwing dog food down the stairs. He was having a lot of fun! I on the other hand was not!

Tired Benjamin

I have been sitting at the computer all morning uploading pictures from our vacation. I put Banjamin into his high chair and gave him some treats to keep him out of trouble. It had been too quiet so I went to check on him and found this. I guess vacation tired him out!

Six flags over Georgia

I was worried how Benjamin would do sleeping in an new place, but we put his play pen in the closet so it was dark and quiet and he did really well. All he needs is a wand and he can be Harry potter living in the closet under the stairs.

Tuesday was our last full day in Georgia and we spent it at Six Flags with Wes's cousin Michelle and her kids.

This is the goliath, the best roller coaster ever! It was my favorite.

My starving son Benjamin wating to get into Six Flags.

Wes and Benjamin enjoying Monster Mansion. Benjamin was so intent on all the animated monsters.

The ninja, this roller coaster gave me a headache.

The Sreamer

After the two big roller coasters, I needed a break I was feeling quite queezy. Since Wes didn't ride the roller coasters he went on the kiddie rides with Benjamin. Benjamin loved this boat, it was his favorite ride, he cried when he got off.

We had such a great time on our trip! Thanks to all of Wes's family who made our trip great!

Stone Mountain

On Monday we went to a great Steak house for lunch and this moose was out front so we had to take a picture. Wes always calls Benjamin Bugaboo, and we saw this placke called Bugaboo steak house so we stopped for lunch. It had great food!

Monday night we went to Stone Mountain for a laser light show, it is one big huge piece of granite sticking out of the ground.

These are Wes's cousins' kids, Alayna, Tiffany and Shane. The next picture has Stephanie in it. They are great fun! We went to six Flags with them on Tuesday too. Tiffany made us Bosnian soup fof dinner it was really yummy!

We and Benjamin watching the laser show. Benjmain loved it. He was ooo and ahhh during the show.

Pine Mountain Wild Animal Safari

On Sunday we went to Pine Mountain wild Animal Safari park. It was a lot of fun! We went with Wes's cousin, Rusell and his wife Sherry and their two kids, Nolan and Keli. They are so nice and we had a wonderful time! Once again I was so wrapped up in how excited Benjamin was I didnn't get any pictures of everybody else
This is Benjamin being a tiger

This is a Liger, which you get when you mate a female tiger and a mile lion. It was huge!

We rode a bus through the park, it took about an hour and a half. Here is Wes feeding the camels

The Giraffe decided to walk over to the bus, and Wes got to feed it. I had never seen a Giraffe so close before they are magnificant animals!

Wes was one of the people the Giraffe ate from.

The Animal Safari was a blast! We had so much fun, Benjamin loved throwing the food out of the window and kept asking for more!

After the Safari we went back to Rusell and Sherry's for dinner. Thanks for such a great day and a great dinner!

Family reunion at the lake

On Saturday we went to Wes's family reunion. His family rents out the lodge at a sate park and they enjoy each others company, playing in the lake and lost of good food. Unfortunatly I didn't take nearly enough pictures of everyone who was there, I just took pictures of Wes and Benjamin. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of his family.

This is Wes and Benjamin walking back from swimming in the lake

Benjamin has never been in a lake before and he was so excited when he saw the water, he went running in. Which caused him to faceplant into the water and swallow a lot of water. it took awhile before he wanted to go back in.

He loved playing with his cup and pouring the water back into the lake.

Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world. It was so Awesome, it was by far Benjamin's favorite. It is in the same complex as the World of Coke so we did both on Friday.

Benjamin was facinated by all of the fish. He loved it.

You could pet the baby manta rays and the sharks, they were slimy. Benjamin was interested, but when you look at the picture closer up you can see the concern on his face!

World of Coke

On Friday we went to the Word of Coke in Atlanta. It it the headquarters for Coka Cola. You get to take a tour and see all ot the history of Coke and then you can taste all the coke flavors from around the world.

This is Wes getting his free bottle of Coke right off of the assembly line.

Benjamin loved trying the flavors, he only got to try lemonade and water. Wes wanted to give him some of the Beverly (the worst tasting flavor ever, but he ended up being nice)

Wes and Benjamin with the Coke Bear. Just look at the look on Benjmains face, he was not happy about standing next to the bear

Benjamin and I enjoying the tour

We had a great time at the zoo today. My friend was in town that I hadn't seen in over a year, so we met at the zoo. When we got there I found out my sister was already there, so it was a lot of fun. It sure was a lot of hard work keeping track of all the kids!

Benjamin loved looking at the porquipine.

And the squirrell monkey

He loved seeins the elephant statue, but didn't want to sit on with his friends
By the end of the trip all the kids were tired and didn't appreciate us taking more pictures!

who needs toys

Benjamin was wound up like an energizer bunny last night. He would climb onto the ottoman, then over the arm of the couch, onto the couch and back onto the floor. He did this for about 15 minutes. He just kept laughing and doing it over and over again. It was so cute! It sure kept Wes and I entertained for a while. We both were wondering why we bother to buy him toys anyway!

Stadium of Fire tickets

I have 4 tickets to see Stadium of Fire on July 4th at BYU. I don't think that we are going to use them. They are $45.00 a piece. Let me know if you would like them, they are really good seats.
